The EC series of continuous pre-expanders has been expanded beyond the simple and reliable traditional electromechanical models with great success through electronic models which, through the use of the latest technology available on the market, overcomes the parameter control problems during material change. In fact, thanks to the introduction of the electronic control system, the expansion cycle is controlled completely automatically and the control parameters can be constantly monitored, modified and saved. 

Standard Features:

- Raw material load hopper with octabine stand and transport screw. - Stainless steel expansion chamber insulated by stone wool and cover with painted plate, provided with agitator and stainless steel material discharge gate.

- Aluminium fluid bed dryer with double floor for condensate water recovery, provided with inspection windows, delumper and transport fan. Material ensiling with Venturi system.

- Material supply with stainless steel screw started by vectorial inverter for densities repetitiveness.

- Stainless steel steam and air plants.

Additional Features of Electronic EC Series:

- Electronic control system with proportional valves for steam, air-steam mixture and temperature sensors.

- Control board with PLC and touch-screen colour interface, efficient software for parameters managing and auto diagnostic system for faults detection.

- Storage system for 20 cycle receipts.

Optional Features:

- 2nd expansion system with spindle and load deposit.

- Automatic density measuring system directly controlled by operating panel. (Only for ECe)
